House Democratic Leaders’ Infrastructure Framework Proposal

The House Democratic Leaders’ proposal recognizes the critical role rail plays in supporting our economy and reducing transportation’s impact on the environment. OneRail applauds the proposal’s focus on improving passenger rail and transit. We look forward to working with Congress to achieve a well-funded approach to addressing state of good repair needs, as well as meeting growing demands across all modes. A balanced transportation system, with greater use of freight and passenger rail, is good for the environment, reduces congestion, helps grow the economy and creates jobs.
